I have been away...
I've been wanting to write this for a while now, and have just enough strength to see it through. I haven't been writing as much as I should. Now, I am ready to come back, and take over what took me a little bit to overcome. For the past couple of months... I, as all of us do, have been on an emotional path to where I am today. Recently, I lost my beloved GRANDmother, Elisa Navarrete Gonzalez.
She not only was the Matriarch of our family, but the love that we all bonded over. She was the one who made all of the bad go away. My most fond memories of her were always such happy and warm ones. She was always like a golden sheet that covered me with a feeling that I never knew I needed, because it was always there.
She was more than a "Grandmother" to all of us grand kids. She was more of a SUPER mother. This is what I had written for her, as I spoke at her BEAUTIFUL and fitting funeral....
It's hard to imagine life without her. She was many, many things, "GRANDMOTHER" did not do her justice. She was/is all things wonderful. Her combination of beauty, wit, humor and kindness will stay with us at all times. She always made such a good time out of any situation. What will always stick with ME personally is the natural ability to always bring love and a smile to anyone she was in contact with. The person I am today comes from many of her traits. She excelled in everything she did, and was a natuaral healer, weather she healed with prayer, food, or just her touch or a look. What MANY of us remember her by is her sensational cooking. There was nothing like it, and we are the lucky ones that grew up with it pumping through our systems. I'm pretty sure that is where we get all of our charm. I always said she was my fashion icon, and will forever remember her style and grace. Heaven is so much more beautiful with her there. she will add to the sunrise, and with every dawn, her GOLD will shine bright.
As I wake each morning, I speak to her. I know she is with her creator, and she is having the best time. I feel it. As I drive every day, her picture is clipped to my visor, as she guides me through another wonderful day to make anything possible. WE all have our guided angles. We all have a special place where we came from, and we all are lucky that these souls have touched our lives. VIVA la VIDA.

Congratulations to my Sister! GRADUATION DAY Crafts and Love!
Ok, I've got my jams on, and I'm Ready to ROCK and ROLL!
So, On June the 6th, 2012, My Sister, The youngest of 5 kids, graduated from high school. I remember that time in my life. The WORLD is OURS for the taking. EVERYTHING is in front of you. You ALWAYS heard "Don't take your youth for granted, You'll miss it" of course in MY case, I DID take it for granted, but, I know now, and I'm a better person for it.
I decided to make LOTS of home made stuffs for this special occasion. The story behind our immediate family is that we all took our own paths and left the coop. Whenever something like this happens, Its SO Refreshing to come together and Just have a GRAND ol' time!
I decided to make her some candy lei's and colorful cup cakes, and OF COURSE, whats a Graduations without Cool and Glittered Signage?
First up, the CANDY Lei's....These have been done for YEARS and YEARS. I remember making my other sister these for her 8th grade graduation with chocolate kisses, and they came out FABU!
Here are the supplies:
•Candies (Don't EVER be afraid of color)
• Plastic Wrap
•Gift Ribbon
•Cool Printed Duct Tape
Make your pattern... By Color, Size, etc...
I found that the EASIEST candies to do this with was the EVER POPULAR MAMBAS, because they are Square shaped and ooohhh sooo gooood!
I took the gum balls out of the wrapper and they went nicely.
WAH LAH! Here's the finished... and one for my Nephew, because he MADE it to FIRST grade... I HAD to ;)

Miss BEAUTIFUL and I showing off her Glory! I added some ZEBRA Duct Tape around some of the candies to SPRUCE it up a bit. You can add touches too ;)
Secondly, Cupcakes... The pictures explain my process, so here goes ;)
Her signage... I went to TOWN with the Glitter, Don't be afraid, other than the fact that there will be PERMANENT Glitter in your carpet, Like mine if your not careful... I got some Foam core at the dollar store and cut the sheets in half, and taped some beach wood to the back for a GRADUATION Picket sign! Check it!
Our Nephew was SO proud!
and Finally, this was my gift to her... Some of my words of wisdom, and a daily Reminder that the World is HERS!
Love you mamasita!
I for one am SO very proud of my Munchkin, and have all of the hope in the world for a Happy and loving life. CONGRATULATIONS Vicky! DREAM HUGE!

NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY
This is a Movie NEAR and DEAR to our hearts.
Happy National Siblings day !
I don’t know about you, but today I heard and read that they are trying to make this, NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY, as acknowledged as Mothers/fathers day, and I think it’s a Swell Idea.
Naturally, If you’re an only Child, You don’t Have BLOOD Siblings, however, I believe, YOU make your own... Whether they be cousins, child hood Neighbors, or elementary - to - high school – to - Adult chums...
Having Siblings is the best thing out there.
To Me, mine are extensions of what make me the person that I am.
To this day, I talk to AT LEAST one of them EVERY day. Doesn't matter how close or far apart you are in age or distance....
To this day, I talk to AT LEAST one of them EVERY day. Doesn't matter how close or far apart you are in age or distance....
They are made up of the same “cocktail” that makes YOU up...
So, Not only today, but EVERYDAY, I’d like to send out some EXTRA special LOVE to my GORGEOUS siblings....
Michael, Vannesa, Andrew, and Victoria Villarreal
They are the PERFECT mix of crazy, Talkative, Jovial, caring, and OUTSTANDING. When we were younger, we lost one of our own, Andrew, and not a day goes by that he is not fluttering around each one of us, making sure we strive for GREAT and happy in this life. I know in my heart of hearts, he sent down Vicky for us as a constant reminder that we only have this one life, so, there is GREAT joy that needs to be made. ANYTIME I need them and they need me, We are there, for each other. We are as strong of a unit as they come, and No matter what, I wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING.

CREEPY Gee Whized EYEBALLS
So, This weekend, I decided to FINALLY Make what’s been in my Head for sometime now... I decided to make Ping Pong eye balls. You see, I have this Flower arrangement in my guest bath, that, well, Needed a little CREEP... So, I was at the 99¢ store, and picked up a 6 pack. I had them, and instantly got SO excited to execute my vision....
If you’re ANYTHING like me, You hate when something is TOO perfect. Example: Smooth Frosting on a cake, or a perfectly polished finger nail. In this case the Ping pongs were TOO white, and clean.... NOT FOR LONG.
I wanted each eyeball to be different. My own spin. Eyeballs have always been my thing. I LOVE them and they ARE the Window to our soul.
Here they are painted... All lined up and ready to party.
Now, I took my dremel, And drilled a hole on the bottom.
Took some old chop sticks, and pushed them in.
WAH LAH!
Hope you like em’
MUCH BETTER Creepy!

Craft Shoe re do!
Hi Ya'll!
I was Fortunate enough to go to this Wonderful event With Mister Mark Montano.
He is extraordinary....Just in case you do not already know. He is a TRUE Gem, and I enjoyed EVERY bit of my time out and about with him.
My journey began on Thursday, March 1st. My travels from Oceanside to The Hollywood area were not the best, but the excitement got me there in no time, Excitement AND the Old school Hip hop I was playing on the RADIO... LET me tell you, I was WORKING it in my car, and Actually came up with some new moves for my ZUMBA classes ;)
So, I got there, and Mark and I had my Very first try at Ethiopian food. DIVINE is an understatement, the spices, the missing utensils, UGH! Sooo YUM!
LOVE this picture Of Mark. So Serious, and Artisitic!
